Hey there, I’m just a regular Joe who’s seen some surveyors in action while they were working near my place. They use some pretty cool gadgets, lemme tell you. There’s this thing called a total station – it looks almost like a camera on a tripod, but what it really does is measure distances and angles between points. They punch in some data, and this gadget helps them map out the area. They also had a GPS device which, I guess, helps them figure out exactly where they are – sort of like the GPS in cars but way more accurate.
