Well, in my experience, emails are like sending letters but digitally, right? You write more detailed stuff, maybe throw in a subject line, and it’s more formal. These go well when you gotta send something important or official. Now, for instant messaging, it’s all quick and casual. I just text my colleague if I need something ASAP or to catch up on small things. It’s sort of like saying, hey, got a minute? So yeah, big difference in how and when to use them in work.
