Isn’t it that social workers deal with like, individual cases (people with problems and such), and social services are more about community and general welfare stuff?

Role of Social Services:

Conversely, social service jobs encompass a wider range of services intended to improve the welfare of communities. While social workers can be involved in these roles, social service professionals work in various contexts including policy making, community organizing, and public health. These roles might be filled by individuals with diverse educational backgrounds – from sociology to public administration – and can include careers in government agencies, NGOs, and other nonprofits aimed at public or community betterment.
