Okay, so from what I’ve read and a bit from my dentist, the best way to avoid cavities is making sure you brush your teeth twice a day. I also use floss every night before bedtime, even if it feels like a chore. Oh, and not just any toothpaste, make sure it’s got fluoride in it. That stuff is like magic for your teeth, helps harden them and resist decay. My brother is a bit lax with it and always ends up with a cavity or two, so yeah, sticking to good old brushing and flossing works best.
