Oh, gyms? I dunno, just pick one that’s not too expensive or something. I guess it should be close to where you live so you won’t be too lazy to go. Just grab a free trial and see if you like it, I guess.

As someone who’s been gymming for a few years, I think it’s pretty key to look into the variety of equipment and the quality of the gym staff. A good range of well-maintained equipment means you won’t be waiting in line too much. And staff? Good trainers make a huge difference. They should have proper certifications and should actually seem interested in helping members, not just selling personal training sessions.

I recently joined a gym and here’s my take: You really wanna check the vibe of the place. Is it too crowded? What’s the crowd like? If you’re like me and prefer quieter times, ask them about peak hours. Also, don’t just go for the shiny equipment. Yeah, they look great but sometimes more basic gyms have better community and coaches who really care. And about contracts – man, read that fine print! I got locked into a year-long membership I just wasn’t ready for!
